The application deadline is March 15, 2017. Between 1 and 5 projects will be selected for an award. No more than one project will be selected for each OMEP region. Projects must focus on at least one component of sustainability as defined by the United Nations: environment, economy, and society. Projects can be for (a) direct work with young children (0-8), with preference for children younger than school-entry age, (b) creation of ESD materials, or (c) pre-service or in-service early childhood teacher education. Projects must be completed by June 1, 2017 prior to the World Conference in Croatia. Award recipients will be recognized at a plenary session, receive a certificate, and have the opportunity to present their work at a parallel session. […]
